Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Ha Noi Branch allowed to move to new venue

The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decision No. 55/QĐ-NHNN on January 15 to allow the Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Ha Noi Branch to move its headquarter to a new venue at 12nd Floor of Lotte Center Ha Noi, 54 Lieu Giai Street, Cong Vi Ward, Ba Dinh District, Ha Noi.

The Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation – Ha Noi branch is responsible for meeting all requirements in accordance with Item 3 of Article 23 of Circular No. 40/2011/TT-NHNN dated December 15, 2011 on granting license to commercial banks, foreign bank branches, representative offices of foreign credit institutions and other international organizations with banking operations in Vietnam. Moreover, the Hanoi branch of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation is required to register and publicize the new venue of its office in line with Item 4 of Article 29 of the Law on Credit Institutions.

This Decision took effect on the date of signing and is an integral part of License No. No. 292/GP-NHNN dated November 4, 2008.
