SBV revises Licenses of HCMC and Hanoi branches of Woori Bank (31/10/2014)

The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Decisions No. 2191 and 2192/QĐ-NHNN on October 30 to extend the operational coverage of the licenses of the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and Hanoi branches of Woori Bank.

Accordingly, the SBV Governor has approved the additional operation of “trading Government bonds” to Article 3 of License No. 1854/GP-NHNN dated December 20, 2005 for the HCMC branch of Woori Bank and Article III of License No. 16/NH-GP dated July 10, 1997 for the Hanoi branch of Woori Bank.

The HCMC and Hanoi branches of Woori Bank are responsible for implementing the additional operation in compliance with law; and registering with the relevant authorities and publicizing this operation in accordance with Item 4 of Article 29 of the Law on Credit Institutions.

The Decisions took effect on the date of signing and are integral parts of Licenses No. 1854/GP-NHNN dated December 20, 2005 for the HCMC branch of Woori Bank and No. 16/NH-GP dated July 10, 1997 for the Hanoi branch of Woori Bank.
