Japan Bank for International Cooperation allowed to open representative office in Hanoi

JBIC allowed to open representative office in Hanoi (08/01/2014)

The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued Licence No. 08/GP-NHNN on January 7 to permit the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) to open its Representative Office in Hanoi.
Accordingly, the JBIC Representative Office in Hanoi is located at the 3rd Floor, Sun City, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi with the operational duration of 5 years. The office will function as an office of liaison to make market research and promotion of investment projects of JBIC in Vietnam. It will also promote and monitor the implementation of the contracts and agreements signed between JBIC and credit institutions and businesses, and JBIC- financed projects in Vietnam.

The Licence took effect on the date of signing.
